Arnold Palmer

Arnold Palmer

The thing I love most on a golf course is a large Arnold Palmer

Whether it is homemade, or from Arizona Ice Tea it is always the best

The first sip is a slice of heaven; the ice tea and the lemonade clash like white on rice

On ice only, the drink just tastes better.

Not because the ice waters it down, or because it adds volume it makes it cold

The colorless substances slides down your throat refreshing your system

The ice brings out the lemon and the sugar while the tea sits on the bottom

The drink not only has the name but the taste and smell of a champion

Young, old, big, tall everyone at the club enjoys heaven in a cup

Each sip has a different taste, lemony, sugary, sweet, sour

Never the same that’s the best; not knowing what to expect

Is this going to have the tangy feeling? Or the woah that’s real good!

Like ice cream you can eat it when it is hot or cold out; no matter what it will always taste good. Especially with a buffalo chicken wrap or buffalo wings.

Like the drink each wing is different.

The crunch, the taste, the baked, the fried, the sweet the hot

But this wing is tangy and spicy

You can taste the crunchiness; the sauce gets to the back of the throat

Each element of the sauce is a key essential to the making of the wing

When the heat is too much a sip of the perfect drink cools you off and keeps you going

I used to eat wings alone with water, no palmer, it wasn’t the same

The last bite and the last sip, what a perfect world.
